Now, you can easily set different start and end dates for each technology within your project. This flexibility allows you to consider the addition of new technologies throughout the project’s lifetime. The setup is intuitive, with graphical bars that you can simply drag to modify dates and durations, making it more user-friendly than ever.

Optimize BESS Management with Flexible Augmentation Options

We've also introduced the ability to model scenarios without having to implement a mandatory augmentation strategy. You can now define a State of Health (SOH) limit, allowing the BESS system to stop functioning once that threshold is reached. This offers you greater flexibility in simulating real-world scenarios.

Enhance Decision-Making with Automatic Capacity/Lifetime Calculations

Similar to HOMER® Pro, HOMER® Front now automatically performs recalculations of functional curves, degradation curves, and temperature influences based on the input data you provide. This will significantly aid you in key dispatch strategy modeling, such as managing the speed of charge and discharge and calculating degradation costs.

Increase Efficiency with Simplified Multi-Year Price Analysis

We’ve simplified late-stage analysis with the introduction of a single .csv file where you can enter multi-year price strips for your project. This makes it more efficient to manage multi-year pricing and enhances your overall workflow.
